Fagor Automation: improvements in the “CNC 8055” range
Fagor Automation has developed the following improvements in its “CNC 8055” range's products.
- Redesign of the pickup inputs. The CPU and Analogical plates have been remodelled. Now all the input entries, axes and headstock admit differential TTL and 1 Vpp sine-wave signals.
- Solid state disc 8040 and 8055i models. The CPU module has been remodelled and can have a Solid State Disc (Compact Flash) for storing programmes.
- Solid State Disc for enlarging the memory. It allows for storing, executing and simulating part programmes stored in it.
- Can regulation. It has a Can field bus and standard OPEN Can communications protocol for communication with the regulators. Its features, in general, are similar to the Sercos ring features, with a lower level of transmission speed.
This type of regulation is enabled through the corresponding software option.
