Civil Engineering and Fitting Out The Centre

The ceremony for the laying of the first stone was held on the16th April 2002. It was attended by the Spanish Ambassador in China, the Mayor of Tianjin and representatives of the Ministr y of Finance of China. The construction is of a mixed type, and includes workshop, offices, classrooms, laboratories, meeting rooms and an auditorium, with a totalsurface area of 4650 m2, situated onthe facilities of the Tianjin Technical Institute. All equipment has been connected internally and externally by means of an Ethernet network which can be remotely controlled by the laboratories and the manufacturers who have provided machinery. |
On September the 30th, 2003, fulfilling all the requirements laid down for the construction, the building was accepted.

The centre has been fitted out with 42 Machine tools with exclusive Spanish Technology, a clear indicator of the high technological levels reached in Spain: - Numerical Control lathes. - Numerical Control milling machines and machining centres. - Numerical Control cylindrical, surface and centreless grinding machines. - Punching machines. - Wire cut and spark erosion machines. - Band saws. - Measuring machine. |
