Educational Technology Transfer

A series of activities in the line of educational technology transfer took place to guarantee the viability of the project. These can be classified as follows: |
• Technical assistance:
Technical assistance consists of providing a training program in the technologicaland methodological field and in the skills required to meet the needs of aspecific production environment. The following activities have been carried out:
Staff recruitment
Two groups of mechanical and electrical engineers with work and teaching experience in design, machining, production and maintenance and repair of Machine tools were recruited to become teachers.
Teacher´s Training
The above activities took place on the premises of the IMH, following the program below:
- Maintenance and repair of Machine tools.
- Design and manufacturing of Machine tools.
Management Training
This program includes training of management for the centre in state-of-the-art management techniques of a training centre, thus bringing economic and financial balance through marketing its product (training).
Curricular Material
Delivery of Didactic Units and Teaching Material relative to the specialities defined in the centre.
• Technical support:
The project includes the support of several experts from the promoter group who ensure the successful start-up of the project:
Short-term Experts
Short-time experts are responsible for technical, pedagogical and organisational updating of the project.
Co-director
The mission of the co-director is to introduce an effective managing system, in order to obtain the forseen objectives.
